Privacy Policy

The short version

Your videos never leave your Google Drive. Mezz streams them directly from Drive to the people you share them with, and stores only the review layer around them: comments, timestamps, and review links. We don't run ads, and we don't sell or share your data with third parties.

What we access in Google Drive

Mezz uses Google's most limited Drive permission (drive.file). We can only see files you explicitly open with Mezz or select in the file picker — never your whole Drive. When you play a video, Mezz relays the video data from Google Drive to your viewer's browser; we do not copy, store, or retain your video files on our servers, and we do not use your Drive data for anything except providing the review features you see in the app.

Mezz's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

What we store

• Your account email (via your PeachyStack sign-in)
• Google Drive connection tokens, so Mezz can stream your videos — stored server-side, never exposed to browsers, and deleted when you disconnect Drive
• Metadata about videos you add (file name, size, duration — not the video itself)
• Comments, timestamps, and their authors' names
• Review links you create

Guests

People you share a review link with don't need an account. If they comment, we store the name they enter alongside their comment so you know who said what. Review links can be revoked by you at any time, which immediately cuts off access.

Cookies

Mezz uses cookies only to keep you signed in and to make flows like connecting Google Drive work. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Deleting your data

Disconnecting Google Drive deletes your Drive tokens immediately. Removing a video from Mezz deletes its review data (the file itself stays untouched in your Drive, where it always was). To delete your account and all associated data, contact us and we'll take care of it. You can also revoke Mezz's Drive access any time from your Google account permissions.
